Day 1: Arrival and Welcome Meal

Today’s the start of the best 10 days of your life! We’ll look after most things, but your flights in and out are all yours to organise. Fly into Cairns Airport and make your way to your accommodation. After you check in to your hostel you'll meet your guide and meet the rest of your group. Later we’ll all be meeting together for our welcome meal.

Day 2: Finding Nemo

Today is all about ticking off bucket list items, we’re off to The Great Barrier Reef! We’ll be rising early to catch our boat out to the reef where colourful coral and tropical fish await. If you’re lucky you’ll hopefully spot a turtle (or a little reef shark!) in the waters below.

You’ll be snorkelling today but if you ever wanted to try out scuba diving today could be the day. We’ll have an exclusive offer for you to try an introductory scuba dive.

Day 3: Chasing waterfalls

Queensland is home to some stunning waterfalls and you’ll be swimming in them today. We’ll be joining the backpacker favourite Uncle Brian’s Fun, Falls and Forest day trip. We’ll be hitting up three waterfalls and one freshwater lake to take a dip.

Our favourite waterfall? If we had to choose we’d pick Millaa Millaa falls, and it’s not just us who love it - it’s been known to feature in music videos and adverts.

We’ll end the day at a freshwater lake… which might be home to a little freshwater croc…

Day 4: All aboard

We’ll be saying goodbye to Cairns and as we embark on our journey South. Australia is big, and today you’re going to see some of the scale of this country. Sit back and relax as we hop on the iconic Greyhound Bus all the way to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays.

Day 5: The Whitsundays Await

This might just be the best day ever. You’ll be up bright and early for a stunning 60 minute scenic flight over The Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef. Marvel at the white sand of Whitehaven Beach then the stunning colours of where the sea meets the Great Barrier Reef. Get your phones ready to snap the iconic heart reef - it’s smaller than you think so you’ll need to act fast.

Could the day get any better? Oh yes! Next you’ll be cruising to Whitehaven Beach on a speed boat, stand on the whitest sand in the world then snorkel in the surrounding waters. What a day!

Day 6: Adventure or relax?

Today is a free day for you to spend how you want. There are heaps of activities to do in Airlie Beach - the adventurous can choose from jet ski safaris to skydiving!

Those who prefer to have their heart pumping at a normal level can choose from a scenic kayak or a stroll to Honeyeater Lookout. Or you may just want to soak in the sun at Airlie Beach’s lagoon. Whichever you choose, it’s going to be a day to remember.

On the evening, you'll get the overnight bus to our next stop, Rainbow Beach

Day 7: What SUP

Get on the bus in one town, and wake up in another. Welcome to Rainbow Beach! This small town is famous for being the gateway to K'Gari, the world's biggest sand island. Tomorrow, that's where you'll be heading but first, we've got an activity for you.

Australians love their water activities, and we want you to try them too, with a relaxing Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP) Lesson. We guarantee you'll want a paddle board next Summer.

Days 8 and 9: Freshwater lakes, Sand Blows and More

Most people argue, what's best, Whitsundays or K'Gari? No-one is right, they're both incredible. Over the next 2 days you'll be exploring this incredible island, visiting freshwater lakes, lazy rivers and sand blows. It gets better, you'll be in 4WD cars, with one guide in the front vehicle. You will either be in that vehicle, or the one of the vehicles behind. You can even spend some time driving this unique landscape. This trip is spectacular, and unlike any other in the world.

Day 10: A Sad Farewell

We never like endings, but they always arrive. After the best 10 days of your life, it’s time to say goodbye to your new mates and take your memories home with you.

We hope you’ll have had a ball and have seen more of Australia than you imagined you could.

You’ll be getting the bus down to Brisbane where you can catch your flight home. And while the trip might be over, the memories will last a lifetime.
